Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and oversee mechanical systems, equipment and components.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, calculations and engineering reports.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot and maintain mechanical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil and other engineering teams on projects.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs and timelines.
- Identify mechanical problems and provide effective technical solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with UAE regulations, safety requirements and engineering standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and clients when required.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and project records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering design software.
- Good analytical, problem-solving and project-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of UAE engineering and safety standards is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- HVAC and MEP knowledge.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
- Project coordination and site supervision.
- Technical report preparation.
