Job summary

A regional water solutions provider in Sharjah is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to supervise staff and oversee projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the water sector, with strong technical and leadership skills. Responsibilities include ensuring project completion, preparing specifications, and monitoring team performance. This role requires proficiency in English and a UAE driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the Water Sector, with at least 3 years in GCC.
• Must have a UAE driving license.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is preferable.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• To provide supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinate work flow within the major work unit, including distribution work, disseminating information, providing technical assistance, and resolving supervised problems within the work unit.
• Monitoring the team’s performance and to assisting them by performing the tasks with them.
• Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
• Oversee project efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
• Prepare and study technical drawings specifications to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Strategizing, planning, administrating and handling all the facets company.
• Monitoring the client matters and settling the same in order to ensure perfectly contented client services.
• To help with training for various procedures.
• To provide reports to Installation Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Engineering in Mechanical.
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience (Water Sector 3 Years + 2 years any sector) preferably in GCC.
• Language Proficiency - English (must) - Arabic (preferable).
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Understand Drawing, Fabricating, Fitting, Assembling, and maintaining machinery equipment and tools.
• Cutting and welding knowledge Guiding and motivation skills teaching and instructing skills.
• Installation supervision, inspection, organization, coordination, per-commissioning, plant implementation and field engineering.
• Must be familiar in basic Mechanical & Electrical tools.
• Must be familiar in Water treatment equipment & machinery.
• Attention to detail and documentation process.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
