Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer - Operations & Maintenance (O&M) is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment within the facility. This role involves conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, overseeing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with other engineering disciplines, technicians, and management to maintain a safe and efficient operation.

Maintenance and Repairs

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs. Oversee the execution of repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Preventive Maintenance

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and longevity. Schedule and conduct regular maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Operational Support

Monitor the performance of mechanical systems, identifying opportunities for improvement. Assist in the planning and execution of operational strategies to optimize equipment efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs and achieve organizational goals.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards. Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance.

Project Management
