Job summary

Tasc Business in Dubai is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Fire Safety to support design, review, approval, implementation, testing, and commissioning of Fire & Life Safety systems. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and deep knowledge of NFPA, BS codes and international standards.

You will coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and facility managers to deliver compliant, safe fire protection

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Fire Safety/Mechanical.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA/BS codes and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review designs for Fire Hydrant Systems.
• Prepare and review designs for Sprinkler Systems.
• Coordinate with Architects, MEP Consultants, Contractors, Developers, and Facility Managers.
• Review contractor shop drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
• Witness testing and commissioning of fire-protection systems.
• Attend authority meetings and respond to technical comments.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Fire Safety to support the design, review, approval, implementation, testing, and commissioning of Fire & Life Safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review designs for:
• Fire Hydrant Systems
• Sprinkler Systems
• Foam Systems
• Clean Agent Systems
• Fire Pumps
• Smoke Management
• Staircase Pressurization
• Conduct fire-safety engineering assessments.
• Ensure designs comply with NFPA, BS, and international codes.
• Review contractor shop drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
• Prepare FLS reports, NOCs, and technical submissions.
• Attend authority meetings and respond to technical comments.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Witness testing and commissioning of fire-protection systems.
• Identify non-compliances and issue corrective-action reports.
• Coordinate with Architects, MEP Consultants, Contractors, Developers, and Facility Managers.
