Job description

Mechanical Draftsman will play a crucial role in preparing precise mechanical drawings and layouts essential for our innovative building projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Mechanical design drawings with applied Cad Standard & Formats.
• Developing the company’s standard details library.
• Designing ductwork & piping networks of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, LPG and Fire Fighting systems.
• Proficient in production of schematic riser diagrams and mechanical plant room layouts.
• Developing drawings according to specifications and direction from the design team.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a technical college or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 10-year experience in engineering consultancy or construction environment in GCC.
• Expertise in all aspects of mechanical engineering within construction of various types of building and designs.
• Proficiency in working on latest version of CAD, experience with BIM is a plus.
• Awareness of drawings submission requirements to authorities including DCD, DM, DDA, & DEWA.
• Performing Drafting and CAD design.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
