Job summary

Cigna Insurance Middle East, a leading health insurer, is seeking an Actuarial Analyst based in Dubai to support pricing, analytics and reporting for the MEA region. The role collaborates with Data & Analytics, Underwriting and Finance to inform business decisions.

You will process data, perform pricing studies, and develop dashboards while assisting with regulatory submissions. The ideal candidate holds an actuarial/math/finance degree and has MEA experience, strong English, and MS Office

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance or related field.
Progress toward Associate credentials with IFoA or SOA.
Commitment toward fellowship pursuit.
At least two years actuarial experience in the Middle East, preferably in health insurance.

Responsibilities

Data processing, reconciliations and analytics.
Actuarial pricing for MEA region including experience studies, setting book rates and pricing assumptions, and methodology updates.
Support analytics related to medical cost drivers and trends to support business decisions.
Development of dashboards and reports to enhance the speed and quality of actuarial analysis and reporting.
Developing, testing and maintenance of pricing and underwriting tools.
Support the monthly financial close, including reserving process and communicating drivers of financial results relative to forecast.
Supporting the compilation of regulatory submissions.
Close collaboration with other teams including Data & Analytics, Underwriting and Finance.
