GE Vernova in UAE seeks a one-year Engineering Trainee to support MEA regional operations across the Middle East and Africa. The role focuses on building a comprehensive component matrix for client GIS substations while developing technical analysis and business skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in related discipline.
• Strong academic record and understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with engineering software relevant to the discipline is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• UAE localization preference for UAE Nationals.

Responsibilities

• Support services engineering projects from concept through execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MEA Parts Hub, sales, operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation.
• If required, participate in site visits, inspections, site activities.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and engineering best practices.
