The Role
You will be teaching Maths across the secondary school. In the first academic year of the contract (27-28), the successful candidate will teach Grades 7-10 Maths. The following academic year, in the second year of the contract (28-29), the first Grade 11 cohort will begin the IB Diploma Programme, and the successful candidate will teach IB DP Maths in addition. You may be expected to teach lessons outside of your main subject as the school grows, so experience of offering middle school science lessons would be advantageous. Leadershiproles (subject and programme coordination) are possibilities for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject.
• Valid teaching licence/ current teaching registration preferably from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, US or Canada (e.g. VIT, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range.
• Experience with the IB DP curriculum in Maths is advantageous.
• Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would also be an advantage.
• Dynamic and creative approach to teachingand motivatingstudents.
• Flexibility and resilience required to work in a team at a fast growing school, with a willingness to teach across subjects in a growing school.
