Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a mandatory post teaching qualification (PGCE).
• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
• Mandatory experience in teaching the England National Curriculum.
• Strong knowledge and adherence of safeguarding and child protection.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language (EAL).
• Proactive, professional, calm and knowledgeable education professional.
• Ability to engage a diverse, multicultural student body.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with team to plan engaging lessons aligned to curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress.
• Develop positive relationships with all members of the school community.
• Work with curriculum support staff to support student development.
• Meet with other professionals as required (SLTs, OT, EP).
• Embed school language and attitudes across the curriculum.
