Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons within the IB/American curriculum, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with colleagues to sustain outstanding teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching High School Mathematics, preferably in an American/IB curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on mathematics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability to start from October 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons to students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Mathematics and foster critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Participate in parent‑teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Skills Description

Successful candidates will need:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching High School Mathematics, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry‑based learning and hands‑on Mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
• Availability to start from October 2026.
