Dubai American Academy, GEMS Education’s flagship American school, invites applications for a High School Mathematics educator on a maternity cover from October 2026.

Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons within the IB/American curriculum, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with colleagues to sustain outstanding teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching High School Mathematics, preferably in an American/IB curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on mathematics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability to start from October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons to High School students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum continuity and student assessment.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate progress.
