Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a professional to manage projects related to stormwater and drainage systems. The candidate will review contractor submissions, conduct asset assessments, and assist in project administration. Strong knowledge of ISO9000 quality systems is preferred, and all tasks should comply with the company's core values and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review contractors material submittals for civil and piping work.
• Complete data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and design.
• Conduct asset condition assessments of materials.
• Prepare material specifications reports.
• Assist in project administration tasks.
• Review work performed by designers and administrative staff.
• Identify non-conforming materials and generate reports.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO9000.
• Complete work in line with company values and quality systems.

Job description

The role involves working on projects associated with stormwater & drainage flood alleviation wastewater networks and water distribution networks. This will involve undertaking investigations planning designing tendering contract administration and construction monitoring.

Key Accountabilities

• Review contractors material submittals for civil and piping work.
• Complete data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and design.
• Asset condition assessments of materials ensure compliance to technical specifications of contract and local authority requirements.
• Preparation of material specifications reports.
• Assist in project administration including gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs and completing progress reports.
• Review work performed by designers and administrative staff.
• Identifying non-conforming materials generating reports and corrective actions and coordinating responses.
• Experience in the conduct of quality inspections with hands on experience of ISO9000 quality systems.
• Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.
