Job summary

ARABIAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LLC SPC seeks a Materials Controller to plan, coordinate and control materials for civil and oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. This role ensures timely availability of approved materials in line with project requirements, specifications, schedules and quality standards.

You will work closely with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC and Project teams to track approvals, procurement status, deliveries and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• 5+ years in materials control, procurement coordination, or materials management on construction projects.
• Familiarity with international material standards and testing requirements (ASTM, BS, API, ISO).

Responsibilities

• Plan material requirements based on contracts and drawings.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, planning, QA/QC and project teams to align procurement with schedules.
• Monitor procurement status to ensure timely availability and avoid site delays.
• Prepare and manage material submittals with complete documentation and approvals.
• Maintain material logs, status reports and documentation for audit and handover.
