Job summary

Sundus is seeking a Material Planner in Abu Dhabi to ensure material supply aligns with production schedules and maintain optimal stock levels. The role emphasizes PR management, accurate inventory control, and proactive issue resolution.

The candidate will leverage SAP for demand planning, reporting, and process optimization, while collaborating with engineering and procurement teams to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in material planning and scheduling of multiple projects.
• Regional/industry experience preferred (3+ years).
• Proficiency in SAP/ERP, MRP and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and PRs: oversee material supply against schedules and create PRs.

JPC - 6250 - Material Planner

Department: Scheduling & Planning | Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose

Ensures material supply meets production schedules and minimum stock levels to maintain smooth operations and efficient inventory flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling & PRs: Oversee material supply against schedules and create Purchase Requests (PRs) based on demand.
• Inventory Control: Analyze supply trends to maintain optimum levels and conduct accuracy checks.
• Issue Mitigation: Monitor material flow, forecast problems, and adjust schedules to resolve bottlenecks.
• Systems & Reporting: Leverage SAP to manage demand, generate process flows, and provide performance reports.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders on material updates, engineering changes, and timelines.

Requirements

• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce or Engineering.
• Experience: 3+ years in material planning and scheduling multiple projects (3+ years regional/industry preferred).
• Technical Skills: Expert in SAP/ERP, Material Resource Planning (MRP), and Resource Management.
• Core Skills: Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, and the ability to work under pressure.
