Job summary

Al Futtaim Engineering and Technologies in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Material Coordinator to oversee project stores activities including receiving deliveries and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Science or Arts and at least 5 years of experience in MEP stores management.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, ensuring quality control of incoming materials, and maintaining tools inventory. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for this role, along with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering with related training in supply chain management.
• 5-8 years of experience in MEP stores management in contracting companies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, handling, inspecting, distribution, and inventory control of materials.
• Plan layout and logistics for efficient storage to prevent loss or damage.
• Supervise a team of stores employees including their training and evaluation.

Skills

Computer literacy and especially in MS Office

Writing skills in English & Hindi

Warehouse best practices knowledge

Warehouse management experience

Education
