Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Mason in Abu-Dhabi to lay bricks, blocks, stone, or similar materials for constructing and repairing walls, arches, and foundations. The role includes cutting and shaping materials and preparing surfaces with bonding agents, leveling and joints filling as needed.

We are looking for a Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The salary is 1600 and we are open to hiring a foreigner with minimal work experience.

Job Description

The Mason will be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, stone or similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, partitions, arches and other structures. The Mason will also need to cut and shape stones or bricks, using trowels, chisels and other hand tools. Additionally the Mason may need to prepare surfaces for masonry work by scraping them clean and applying a bonding agent. As part of the role they may be required to level surfaces and fill joints with cement or other materials.

Requirements for the Candidate

Applicants must have extensive knowledge of masonry techniques and an understanding of building plans. They should have excellent physical stamina as this job requires lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time. They should also possess problem solving abilities in order to diagnose issues quickly and accurately as well as great attention to detail when measuring components.
