Job Title: Mason

Location: Abu-Dhabi, UAE

Salary: 1400 AED per month

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have experience working with stone, concrete and bricks. You must be able to complete projects within tight deadlines and handle the physical demands of the job.

The successful candidate is expected to have excellent problem solving skills, be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand safety regulations. You should also have the ability to effectively manage time and resources while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of brick, stone or other masonry products according to design specifications
• Prepare layout according to specifications using measuring tools (i.e. levels)
• Construct walls, partitions and foundations by placing blocks in position in accordance with sketches/print plans
• Install structures or fixtures like windows/door frames, curbstones or sidewalks using hand/power tools or other equipment
• Build arches/vaults by laying bricks in courses following sketches/blueprints
• Repair existing masonry structures such as walls and chimneys
• Select appropriate materials for specific jobs depending on their characteristics (i.e. color, texture etc.)
• Maintain tools/equipment in good condition
