Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Mason in Abu-Dhabi to lay bricks, blocks, stone, or similar materials for constructing and repairing walls, arches, and foundations. The role includes cutting and shaping materials and preparing surfaces with bonding agents, leveling and joints filling as needed.

The candidate should have strong masonry knowledge, the ability to read building plans, and excellent physical stamina for demanding work conditions.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have extensive knowledge of masonry techniques and an understanding of building plans.
• Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
• Strong problem solving abilities and great attention to detail when measuring components.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone or similar materials to construct or repair walls and arches.
• Cut and shape stones or bricks using trowels, chisels and other hand tools.
• Prepare surfaces for masonry work by scraping clean and applying bonding agents; level surfaces and fill joints with cement.
