Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
• Reading blueprints and understanding specifications.
• Skilled in using hand tools and equipment related to masonry work.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or drawings to determine specifications.
• Cut or shape materials to required sizes.
• Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans.
• Mix and spread mortar or other adhesives.
• Align materials with plumb lines or levels.
• Use hand tools and equipment to smooth surfaces and remove excess materials.
• Install insulation or vapor barriers.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
