Job summary

Mai Dubai is seeking a skilled Mason/Civil Maintenance Technician to perform masonry, plastering, tiling and concrete repairs across our Dubai facilities. You will work on brickwork, blockwork and concrete structures, following drawings and specifications.

The role requires 3–5 years hands-on experience in industrial or commercial maintenance, ability to read drawings, operate masonry tools, and maintain a safe, clean site. We value reliability and independent work within a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands‑on experience as Mason/Civil Maintenance Technician in industrial, commercial, or facility environments.
• Skilled in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, tiling, concrete repair and finishing works.
• Able to read and interpret basic construction drawings and work orders.
• Proficient in using masonry hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixing equipment.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform masonry, plastering, tiling and concrete repair works across MDI Dubai facilities.
• Construct repair and maintain brickwork, blockwork, concrete structures, retaining walls and other civil works.
• Prepare and mix mortar and concrete using manual and mechanical mixing equipment.
• Lay bricks, blocks, tiles, paving and concrete according to drawings and specifications.
• Repair damaged brickwork, plaster, flooring, walls and other building finishes.
• Measure, mark and level work areas using appropriate masonry tools and equipment.
• Cut, shape and install bricks, concrete and stone using hand and power tools.
• Erect and dismantle ladders, scaffolding and temporary work structures safely.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean worksite while supporting other building maintenance activities as assigned.
