Job summary

Waagner Biro Bridge Services in Dubai is seeking a skilled Mason with 3–5 years of experience to join our field teams. You will perform brickwork, blockwork, plastering, tiling, and concrete repairs on diverse infrastructure projects, read drawings and layouts, and follow work instructions to ensure accurate execution and compliance with specifications and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mason in construction projects.
• Experience in blockwork, plastering, tiling and concrete repair works.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials and site safety practices.
• Physically fit to work in demanding site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform brickwork, blockwork, stonework, plastering, screeding, and concrete repairs as per project requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate execution of masonry works.
• Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, pavements, and other structural elements.
• Prepare and mix mortar, cement, and other construction materials.
• Ensure all masonry work is completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and report defects, material shortages, or site issues to the supervisor.
