The Role:

Working within our WorldFirst branded international payments business Line, you ll help us transform and scale our new customer acquisition and revenue growth across Middle East region, one of World First s largest and untapped markets. We need an experienced regional marketer, with a strong track record in marketing who comes from a regional marketing with a solid B2B background. Your focus will be on acquiring small to medium businesses located in UAE and Saudi engaged in cross border trade who need digital international payments and financial services and also expanding their global footprint into other high growth countries with marketplace sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up the marketing strategy and tactics based on the target market and regional commercial strategy. Set clear goals and ensure each step will be delivered on time from the marketing perspective. Strategize and coordinate regional marketing initiatives across target European markets, with a specific focus on field marketing activities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Global Marketing team to lead the localization of the regional marketing strategy, ensuring content localization is aligned with regional nuances and customer considerations. Ensure data and insights underpin the Marketing strategy, execution and growth plans.
  • Drive and grow customer acquisition, through online and offline channels leveraging both global marketing, in-house as well as third-party/agency resources.
  • Set measurable KPIs for all activities and initiatives being undertaken and demonstrate MKT ROI through attribution modelling.
  • Work closely with all other functions and be a team player, ensuring consistent marketing message/proposition is established both internally and externally.
  • Support the Commercial team with field marketing initiatives (event organization, event participation, event lead generation etc).
Requirements:
  • Regional and strategic level marketing experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Previously marketed a product within Amazon eco-system to acquire Amazon or Noon sellers, will be distinctly advantageous.
  • Able to work across multiple geographic time-zones in a matric organization
  • Have understanding and respect for different working cultures
  • Ability to manage, optimize, and effectively deploy a marketing budget with proven track record of leading and influencing teams both locally and remotely
  • Ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, adopt an entrepreneurial mentality, not afraid to test out new ideas and roll up your sleeves to get stuff done Ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box
