🎯 Role Summary
The Marketing & Digital Growth Intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in all digital activities focused on the UAE and GCC region. This role provides hands‑on experience in localized content creation, SEO, social media management, and performance analysis—all crucial for building brand presence in the Gulf.
📋 Key Responsibilities
1. UAE Digital Content & SEO (Website Activity)
- Localised Content: Research, draft, and edit blog posts, articles, and website copy that are relevant to the UAE business and technology landscape.
- SEO Support: Assist with keyword research, on‑page optimisation, and competitive analysis specifically for UAE‑based search queries to increase organic traffic to vanel.tech.
- Website Audits: Conduct basic audits of the vanel.tech website to identify areas for improved user experience (UX) and content performance for the regional audience.
2. Social Media & Community Engagement
- Content Calendar: Contribute to and execute the social media content calendar for key UAE platforms (especially LinkedIn and Twitter for B2B tech).
- Engagement: Monitor social channels, engage with followers, and track brand mentions to build a positive community around the vanel.tech brand in the region.
- Campaigns: Assist in the planning and launch of social media campaigns tailored for events or product launches in the UAE.
3. Market Research & Data Analysis
- Competitor Analysis: Research key technology competitors, their marketing activities, and content strategies in the UAE to identify growth opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Assist in using analytics tools (like Google Analytics) to track website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign performance, preparing reports for the team.
- Trend Identification: Stay up‑to‑date on the latest digital marketing trends, technology news, and best practices relevant to the UAE.
4. Administrative & General Support
- Support the creation of marketing presentations and sales materials.
- Assist in organising and promoting local virtual or in‑person UAE events (e.g., webinars or trade shows).
- Maintain and update marketing databases and contact lists.
✅ Requirements & Qualifications
Must‑Have Skills (Required)
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English—essential for high‑quality content creation.
- Basic understanding of Digital Marketing principles (SEO, SEM, Social Media).
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets for data tracking).
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to take ownership of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
"Great to Have" Skills (Preferred)
