Overview
Your mission: The Marketing and Communication Manager is responsible for developing and executing all marketing and communication strategies in the region, including media planning, events, and public relations. This individual will play a key role in implementing marketing initiatives to drive store traffic, build brand awareness and sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the luxury industry, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage complex timelines and execute with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Communication : Adv, Press & PR, Events & Promotion
- Develop and roll-out an impactful local media & Public Relations strategy in line with HQ inputs and guidelines and by leveraging local agencies where possible
- Provide recommendations for local media plans in order to maximize brand awareness and exposure
- Develop a strong relationship with local PR agency for ensuring Qualitative and Quantitative media coverage
- Manage all logistics and security requirements for local product loans
- Support local celebrities / influencers / tastemaker dressings
- Proactively propose inputs to HQ regarding local social media strategy
- Monitor local press clippings and dressings
- Plan, manage and execute all local events / initiatives / activations
- Develop briefs and mood boards for local events / initiatives / activations, as needed
- Prepare presentation materials to the local department stores and DM to clients, including pictures of creations and price information in line with external partners
- Assist HQ Communication team in creating content and assets for Vhernier’s internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and employee
Product Marketing & Merchandising
- Define and implement the local marketing strategic plan of the Maison in line with HQ orientations and market business specificities
- Organize product launches of all segments with proper stock and allocation
- Share information on yearly product launch schedule with other departments, boutiques and partners
- Conduct competitor research and marketing analysis
- Organize and attend training sessions for boutique staff on products and brand identity
Client Knowledge And Engagement
- Work closely with Retail team to instill a data-driven culture aimed at understanding, segmenting and engaging clients more effectively
- Develop client knowledge capabilities and understanding across the organization
- In collaboration with the Retail team, develop clienteling programs for greater customer retention and acquisition
- Elevate client experience, offering personalized and meaningful messages at scale, providing differentiated client treatment, and high level of engagements for all Maison’s audiences
Job profile : Technical Skills
- Bachelor graduate with at least 5 years’ experience in marketing & communication, with experience in the Middle East region
- Flexibility to travel as needed
- Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
- Excellent computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe software
- Familiarity with CRM tools
