Job summary

IrisStar Technologies is seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to support critical banking applications and data platforms in a Market Risk environment. The role requires hands-on expertise in Azure cloud technologies, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI, along with L2/L3 production support experience in banking organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance Technology, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, or Data Platform Support roles.
Strong experience providing L2 and L3 production support in enterprise environments.
Hands‑on experience with Power BI (PBIX).
Strong expertise in Azure Databricks.
Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and platforms.
Mandatory experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
Mandatory exposure to Market Risk systems, reporting, or operations.
Experience with incident management, problem management, and change management processes.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to support business-critical systems in a high‑pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Provide L2 and L3 production support for Market Risk applications and data platforms.
Monitor business-critical production systems and proactively identify operational issues.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, data, and infrastructure incidents.
Support and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and workflows.
Manage and troubleshoot Databricks workloads and data processing environments.
Analyze and resolve Power BI (PBIX) reporting and dashboard-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams during incident resolution.
Support production releases, deployments, and post-deployment validations.
Ensure compliance with SLA commitments and operational support standards.
Create and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
Participate in service improvement and production stability initiatives.
