Role

The Market Development Manager, EEMEA will join the existing Ethoca Market Development team in Dubai to cover for maternity leave and have joint focus on the Merchant and Card Issuer segment of our organization. They will be responsible for identifying potential merchants as well as bank partners, sourcing high quality and senior contacts, and setting up calls to explore an Ethoca partnership. Will also be tasked with running initial discovery calls to qualify/disqualify opportunities and drive sales cycles in the early stages.

In this role you will
  • Methodically prospect up to executive level within enterprise target customers
  • Drive conversations and pipeline calls with internal stakeholder in the Mastercard Merchant and Commerce & Issuer teams
  • Run initial sales calls with Merchant and Issuer prospects to qualify opportunities for the Merchant and Issuer Sales team
  • Input and track all prospecting and lead management activities in Salesforce CRM. Educate, and qualify inbound leads via phone and email to create sales-ready opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to ensure revenue objectives
  • Disseminate opportunities to the local Merchant and Issuer team, educating sales executives as necessary about early-stage opportunities.
  • Prepare data driven business cases, ROI and presentations
  • Represent Ethoca at industry tradeshows and networking events
  • Identify and understand trends within industries and customers
All About You
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • "Can do" and positive attitude to effect change, open and creative mindset; comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge / experience using all relevant tools to source and prospect (LinkedIn Sales Nav, Zoominfo, Outreach.io, Drift, etc.)
  • Technology and/or Payments Industry experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, sales acumen, product management, project management, leading and influencing others cross functional team members, and technology application skills are critical
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a Sales/Lead Generation (ideally selling software or software-as-a-service)
  • Self starter, working autonomously and have experience in driving opportunities early stage
  • Experience working with Card issuers/fintech's/payment companies
  • Determined personality and driven by results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Salesforce experience
