Job summary

Qualifications

• Marine engineer with relevant survey background.
• 2–3 years in marine surveying, sailing experience a plus.
• Valid UAE driving license and good hull/machinery knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong IT skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage marine surveys from initial notification through completion.
• Attend surveys when required and complete survey work in-house where possible.
• Review and respond to correspondence from P&I club principals and members.
• Prepare clear, concise survey reports that meet P&I club requirements.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date timesheets and records of all work and expenses.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and engage them when required for survey work.
• Build relationships with local shipowners and agents to promote GAC's marine surveying services.
• Improve working practices and service quality, share ideas, and provide guidance.
