The successful candidate will be responsible for the purchase and sale of marine fuel, building relationships with customers, and supporting market analysis. Qualifications

  • Entry level experience in trading, ideally within the energy & fuel sector or maritime industry.
  • Ability to listen and respond effectively to supplier/customer queries and solve problems.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and committed to continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively market to a portfolio of new and existing customers.
  • Establish and build relationships to increase enquiries and sales.
  • Communicate openly with other traders to maximize the efficient flow of market and customer intelligence.
  • Support international colleagues by diligently working on inbound enquiries.
  • Analyze and interpret market conditions, negotiate deals, and handle sales administration.
  • Control credit risk and assess counterparty financial strength.
  • Leverage the Group’s global network to expand business portfolio.
