Eaton is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Dubai to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, boosting efficiency, quality and safety. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive lean initiatives and ERP data integrity in SAP-based systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (greenfield and industrialization is advantageous).
• 3-5 years experience within a similar position.

Mansioni

• Project management for plant related topics.
• Responsible for achieving project deliverables under scope, technical, schedule, cost, and quality constraints.
• Prepare business cases prior project initiation.
• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement initiatives and FMEAs.
• Follow change management procedures.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Create article for new products in the ERP-system on plant level.
• Maintain master data, bill of materials and routings in the ERP-system - checks calculations on plant level.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Create and maintains layout plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support standardized work definition as well as the workplace design under the consideration of MESH and LEAN requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
