Position Summary

The Managing Director - MENA is a senior leadership position responsible for driving Hex Trust’s growth in the MENA region, especially in Dubai. The role is primarily focused on leading Business Development and Sales efforts to expand Hex Trust’s market presence, acquire new clients, and deepen relationships with key accounts. In addition to business development responsibilities, the Managing Director - MENA will coordinate with global functions to ensure appropriate service delivery for MENA clients, including acting as a representative to local regulators.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner to Hex Trust’s senior management team, overseeing business development in the MENA region and contributing actively to business expansion in alignment with the Group’s overall objectives.
  • Assume P&L responsibility for the MENA region, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders — including Sales, Business Development, Client Management and Finance teams — to understand client needs and drive client engagement.
  • Develop and execute strategies to accelerate Hex Trust’s MENA market share, enhance the business model, and capture new opportunities.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of local regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, and operational controls to ensure the highest standards of regulatory adherence and service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other key external stakeholders.
  • Foster effective cross‑functional collaboration by coordinating closely with local Operations, HR, and Administration teams, while ensuring regular review of business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the regional team, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Strengthen and expand Hex Trust’s relationships with local banking institutions and financial partners.
Qualifications
  • 10-20 years experience in B2B sales and business development or related activities, 3-5 in a leadership position Digital Assets, Fintech or traditional Financial Service.
  • Proven track record in leadership and management roles, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Extensive experience in digital asset ecosystem, with a proven track record of personal immersion within the digital asset ecosystem.
  • Experience working directly with VARA, ADGM, or other MENA regulators, including developing regulations for digital assets and its supporting products, AML / KYC, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
