Job summary

Sigma Earth in the United Arab Emirates invites an accomplished sustainability leader to drive cross‑functional workstreams, ESG ratings, and external recognition initiatives. You will coordinate reporting inputs, governance, and stakeholder communications to advance the company’s sustainability priorities.

The role requires 5+ years in sustainability or ESG roles, project ownership, and strong reporting and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related roles within a corporate or consulting environment.
• Proven experience managing workstreams, projects, or junior team members with strong accountability for delivery.
• Experience with ESG reporting, ESG risk ratings, sustainability awards, stakeholder engagement, and related frameworks or processes.
• Strong organization, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports, presentations, and stakeholder materials.
• Relevant academic background in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
• Certifications such as LEED, GRI, or similar sustainability credentials would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Sustainability workstream management across engagements, communications, ESG risk ratings, awards, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external sustainability events, campaigns, trainings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Oversee ESG risk rating processes, including data collection, evidence management, documentation, and timely submission.
• Drive sustainability awards, certifications, and external recognition submissions from planning to completion.
• Manage and coordinate inputs for the Annual Sustainability Report, ensuring timely review, comment resolution, and final closure.
• Line-manage junior team members by allocating tasks, setting priorities, providing coaching, and monitoring performance.
• Maintain strong governance, documentation, quality assurance, and proactive risk escalation across all sustainability workstreams.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sustainability strategy priorities and support business objectives.
