Job summary

Wow Jobs (Wow Softech Pvt. Ltd) in Dubai seeks a senior finance/business planning professional to lead budgeting, P&L analysis, capex planning and reporting. You will drive top-down/bottom-up budgets, monitor cash flow, and coordinate with treasury and operations to protect margins.

You will also support ERP/system integrity, perform audits, and prepare MIS reports for various business users. Strong Excel/PowerPoint and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze industry in terms of P&L of key competition and gain insights for business strategy
• Create budgets top down and bottom up and identify opportunities
• Communicate monthly sales targets along with Operations
• Publish quarterly P&L estimates
• Take necessary steps to ensure that company’s bottom line targets are met
• Cash flow management and cost optimization in retail operations
• Capex and financing: optimize capex costs and structure financing of fixed assets
• Monitor bidding for projects and approve capex/BOQ based on suitability
• Perform SOP audits and regional audits with internal audit for Capex & SCM
• Provide ERP/system support, detect errors and manage orders
• Ensure cost control, variance analysis for SCM & Capex, align expenditures with accounting

Job description

Business Plan projections and budgeting

• Analyse industry in terms of P&L of key competition and get insights for business strategy




• Create budgets top down and bottom up and stretch wherever there is opportunity




• Communicate monthly sales targets along with Operations




• Publish quarterly P&L estimates




• Take necessary steps to ensure that company’s bottom line targets are met

Cash flow management

• Support retail operations on cost optimization

  
  

Capex and Financing

• Optimize capex cost through analysis and benchmarking




• Collaborate and work with corporate treasury




• Structure financing of fixed assets to optimize the financing costs




• Monitor bidding process for projects and approve of capex / BOQ based on suitability

  
  

Commercial deliverables and control

• Perform SOP audit and regional audit along with the internal audit team for Capex & SCM




• Provide ERP and system related support, detect errors and excess order




• Ensure overall cost control within budget, cost optimization and operations expenses control




• Ensure yearly stock take for Fixed Assets




• Ensure variance analysis is done and required action taken for SCM & Capex




• Align every expenditure till it gets accounted

  
  

Financial reporting

• Provide daily/weekly/monthly/fortnightly MIS report on budget vs actual




• Prepare structured reporting for various business users

  
  

Statutory compliance

• Ensure statutory compliances are adhered to at every New store




• Coordinate with internal & external departments, statutory bodies ,government departments and ensure registrations and compliance are in place as and when required

Business Development

• Undertake feasibility check of new properties




• Analyse market potential (catchment study, IRR calculation, break even analysis) and prepare the justification note




• Get require approvals for new properties from Landmark Group Dubai

  
  

Legal

• Study legal framework of lease agreements and coordinate with Corporate Legal




• Coordinate with corporate legal for final approval of title and due diligence for new properties




• Coordinate with the developers to conclude the term sheet and agreements




• Abide by legal framework




• Handle legal disputes in collaboration with the corporate legal team and ensure company’s interests are protected
