Sobha Constructions seeks a Senior Manager to centrally oversee the Scaffolding Division, covering engineering, asset management, forecasting, procurement, vendor management, yard operations and technical governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience, including 5–7 years in the UAE scaffolding market.
• Proven ability to manage procurement, vendor relations, and asset forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Plan CAPEX based on project demand, stock availability, and priorities.
• Evaluate suppliers and coordinate procurement, production, and deliveries.
• Manage scaffolding assets, allocation, transfers, utilization, refurbishment, and disposal.
• Lead scaffolding design reviews, calculations, methodologies, and technical approvals.
• Oversee central yard operations, inventory controls, and regular reporting.
• Drive cost savings through asset optimization and efficient resource planning.

Job description

Responsible for centrally managing the Scaffolding Division covering engineering, asset management, forecasting, procurement, vendor management, yard operations and technical governance.

CAPEX & Procurement

• Plan CAPEX based on project demand, stock availability, and operational priorities.
• Evaluate suppliers and products, and coordinate procurement, production, and deliveries.

Asset Management & Forecasting

• Manage scaffolding assets, including allocation, transfers, utilization, refurbishment, and disposal.
• Maintain rolling plans, forecast requirements, and optimize asset rotation before procurement or rental.
• Lead scaffolding design and engineering reviews, including calculations, methodologies, and technical approvals.
• Develop solutions for complex scaffolding systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Central Yard Management

• Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, returns, and redistribution of scaffolding assets.
• Monitor inventory controls, utilization, and operational performance through regular reporting.

Commercial & Cost Optimization

• Manage project-wise rental billing and utilization reporting.
• Drive cost savings through asset optimization, refurbishment, competitive sourcing, and efficient resource planning.
