Job summary

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Manager in the CEO Office to drive growth by shaping strategic plans and overseeing governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, enhance customer experience and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in top-tier consulting, investment banking, strategy, or strategy/ops in fast-paced consumer tech/e-commerce/marketplace business.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Innovation, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical and financial-modelling skills; able to build a business case from scratch and defend numbers to senior leadership.
• Innovative mindset with passion for new strategies, technologies, and processes to drive growth.
• Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Executive presence; able to represent the CEO Office in front of country GMs and Delivery Hero stakeholders.
• Self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and own outcomes end-to-end.
• Fluent with modern AI/GenAI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT) to complement output.

About the opportunity

As a Manager in the CEO Office Team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth and success by assisting in the development and execution of strategic plans and innovative initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategic projects that optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and drive revenue growth.

We’re looking for a self-starter with a proactive mindset, who can understand drivers that are important to a rapidly growing business. The best candidates will be those with a consulting or strategy, with an analytical background that want to be close to the core of the business.

What’s on your plate?

Strategic Planning & Governance

This role will help own the strategic roadmap, drive goal-setting, and assist in evaluation of multiple opportunities across the organisation.

• Own the company's strategic roadmap and goal-setting cycle, including half-yearly ambition-setting on big bets and commitments across functions and markets




• Orchestrate and manage the company's monthly and quarterly performance review cycle, coordinating across markets, functions, and with Delivery Hero, to ensure consistent, accurate and timely reporting




• Shape the strategic plans and initiatives that decide where talabat invests next, from new verticals to competitive response, working directly with talabat's c-suite and leadership.




• Evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives based on financial viability, operational feasibility, and impact on key performance indicators, and build the business cases, financial models, and presentations that support decision-making and secure the resources needed

Analysis, Insights & Executive Reporting

This role will help turn company and market data into the insights, analysis and materials that inform executive, board and investor conversations.

• Support the development of analysis and materials for quarterly earnings calls, board meetings, annual reports, and investor presentations, partnering closely with the CFO, CEO and Investor Relations team.




• Lead external and internal conversations on forward-looking initiatives that unlock new growth fotalabat, including emerging technology-led workstreams shaping the future of the business.




• Support the leadership team in preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a strong cross group collaborator; who has the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

• Own recurring competitive intelligence across global and regional peers, tracking market trends, case studies and quarterly financial benchmarking, including work with external partners.




• Conduct deep, complex data retrieval and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and threats to the business, and turn it into compelling recommendations for leadership

Special Projects

• This role will lead high-visibility projects sponsored directly by the CEO, and drive execution across the business.




• Lead cross-functional projects spanning regional functions, local markets, and central teams to gather insights, align strategies, and execute projects effectively; including managing and leading CEO-sponsored projects end to end to drive change management on strategic and operational shifts.

What you need to be successful

• 6+ years' experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, strategy, or a strategy/ops role inside a fast-paced, venture-backed consumer tech, e-commerce or marketplace business.




• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Innovation, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.




• Sharp analytical and financial-modelling skills; comfortable building a business case from a blank page and defending the numbers to senior leadership.




• Innovative mindset, with a passion for identifying and implementing new strategies, technologies, and processes to drive business growth.




• Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.




• Executive presence, able to represent the CEO Office independently in front of country GMs, functional leads and Delivery Hero group stakeholders.




• A true self-starter who manages through ambiguity, and owns outcomes end-to-end.




• Genuine fluency with modern AI/GenAI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, agentic workflows); used to compliment your own output.
