Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring objectives, timelines and budgets are met. You will develop solid business cases, coordinate with senior sponsors, and drive PMO initiatives to improve governance and delivery excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or above and PM qualifications (PMP/APM/PMI) with at least 7 years experience, including 3 in leadership.

• Bachelor degree or above in a relevant field.
• PM certification such as PMP, APM, PMI preferred.
• 7+ years in a relevant field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsabilidades

• Lead delivery of long-term technical projects and programs to meet objectives, schedule and budget.
• Develop business cases evaluating feasibility, benefits, safety and airworthiness implications.
• Create and monitor program plans: scope, milestones, resources, budget, deliverables.
• Coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure informed decisions.
• Apply change management to assess impact on timelines and readiness.
• Analyze change requests to evaluate impact on timelines and budget.
• Report milestones and issues to senior leadership to address critical areas.
• Manage operational issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead program monitoring to highlight and manage major risks.
• Contribute to PMO policy development and processes.
• Support development of PM framework and handbook.
• Oversee training plan for large PMO teams.

Job Description

Synopsis

Lead the delivery of long term technical projects/programs to ensure objectives are met according to plan, schedule, and budget to meet business objectives

Accountabilities

• Develop business cases to support the cost / benefits, evaluation of technical projects to assess feasibility, requirements, expected benefits, continued airworthiness implications, safety impacts and key delivery.
• Lead development of large projects, proposals, solutions, implementation, road maps and delivery in accordance with technical strategic requirements.
• Create, monitor and update program work plans covering the scope,requirements, milestone, resources, budget, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Co-ordinate and Communicate to the project sponsor / business leads to ensure delivery of key messages to relevant stakeholders for effective decision making.
• Apply management of change principles to assess the impact on continued airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, procedures and operation readiness before implementation.
• Analyse and review change requests to ensure impact on timelines and budget is properly evaluated
• Report on key milestones and issues to senior stakeholders to ensure critical areas are addressed on time and in the best manner
• Manage all operational issues to ensure resolution in an effective and timely manner.
• Lead program monitoring activities to ensure major risks and issues are highlighted and managed on a timely and efficient manner
• Contribute to developing / improving policies, standards, core processes principles, to ensure continuous development of Project Management methodologies
• Participate in the development of Etihad's Project Management framework and handbook to provide continuous update and alignment to best in class methodologies
• Manage the training plan of large teams of PMO specialists to contribute to the development of internal PMO teams

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor Degree or anything above (i.e. vocational certificate / Bachelor Degree / Master degree)
• Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, or PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years experience in relevant field of which 3 years in a managerial position
