International Wealth and Premier Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Private Bank, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Premier Solutions team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

  • As a member of the Middle East Wealth and Premier Solutions Team, the jobholder will be responsible for supporting the development and distribution of Investments, Capital Markets and Insurance products through the following activities:
  • Support in development of product, pricing and marketing strategy, including a coherent offering of investment products to be able to fulfil customer needs and increase Bank’s market share as well as AUM
  • Lead alignment of Wealth Propositions for IWPB in Middle East Region with Group best practices
  • Key focus on developing and collaborating with the Capital Markets business with the implementation of a digital platform as well as fixed income and structured products launches
  • Engagement and mobilization of key stakeholders across business and functions in order to deliver investment plan.
  • The Wealth Solutions business in IWPB is expected to grow at a significant pace and role holder is expected to be capable of being a crucial member of the present and growing business unit.
  • Success of the business will involve ability to identify and execute appropriate product strategies to enable rapid growth.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is must to obtain visa in UAE
  • The jobholder should have 5-8 years of working experience, of which a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Strategy/Management Consulting and/or product development with in Capital Markets, Wealth products for a leading retail private bank, treasury or fund house, or leading strategy consulting firm.
  • CFA qualification will be advantageous.
  • Excellent experience with target operating model design, strategy development, modelling and business case development
  • Willingness to work on detailed product launches of fixed income and structured products
  • In addition to above
    • Experience in coordinating investment products activities/sales/training/IT/financial planning in the Wealth business
    • Evidence of strong results orientation and performance management success.
    • Experience in both developing and developed markets.
    • Proven track record in working in multi‑function projects.
    • Experience of identifying and successfully integrating product manufacturing
  • Product Knowledge of Structured Products, Bonds are preferable to perform this role.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Culturally sensitive and understanding of local customer needs
  • Able to take significant responsibilities in sales process, legal, compliance and system related issues.
  • Work closely with the respective country to develop, penetrate and distribute investment products to retail customers.
  • Work closely with all in‑house manufacturers and Third Parties for product development and delivery.
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark.
  • Able to make tough decisions.
  • Able to operate effectively in a complex matrix driven environment.
  • Able to influence, engage and lead in a positive, inspiring manner.
  • A proven track record in investment sales preferable.
