Position Overview

Manager - Group Financial Controls roles at Majid Al Futtaim Holding in Dubai are responsible for executing and continuously strengthening the group-wide financial control framework. The role coordinates control design, testing, remediation, and governance across Holding and operating companies to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of control gaps within a complex multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Risk and Control Matrices, process flowcharts, and walkthrough documentation for core finance cycles including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Tax, and Treasury
• Plan and perform periodic management control testing, log exceptions, agree remediation actions, and track closure with operating company controllers
• Monitor month-end close governance including close checklists, key reconciliations, and journal entry controls, escalating delays or high‑risk issues
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, group accounting policies, and segregation of duties requirements
• Support updates to the Internal Control Manual and related governance documentation
• Leverage automation, Power BI, and data analytics to increase automated control coverage and reporting efficiency
• Coordinate audit walkthroughs, schedules, and documentation for internal and external auditors
• Deliver control awareness sessions, develop job aids, and provide guidance to finance teams
• Identify process inefficiencies and support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives such as workflow automation and straight‑through processing

Ideal Profile
