Overview

This role is responsible for managing financial reporting and control activities to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant preparation of financial information in line with regulatory, group, and accounting standards. It focuses on strengthening financial controls, supporting audits, overseeing reporting processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. The position also contributes to process improvements, governance, and team development to enhance overall efficiency and maintain strong financial discipline within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and timely submission of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, UAE Central Bank, and Group requirements.
  • Oversee stakeholder reporting, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency of financial submissions.
  • Establish and enforce strong financial control frameworks, including reconciliations and GL governance.
  • Manage audit activities, acting as liaison with external and internal auditors, ensuring timely closure of audit issues.
  • Mentor and develop the financial reporting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
