Job summary

Landmark Group in Dubai seeks an experienced FP&A leader to drive periodical financial performance reporting, balance sheet and cashflow reviews, and strategic planning across brands and markets. You will synthesize insights by business unit and channel, highlighting top performers and laggards for timely interventions.

Collaborating in cross-functional teams, you will automate reporting, guide budgeting cycles, prepare board presentations, and support year-end closing in line with group

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Chartered Accountant qualification
• 7–8 years of FP&A experience in a large matrix organisation

Responsibilities

• Prepare periodical financial performance reporting with actionable insights for management.
• Review balance sheet and cashflow to aid decision making.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with brands and countries.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to automate reporting processes.
• Oversee budgeting process from conception to board-ready presentations.
• Support strategy planning and publishing templates for leadership reviews.
• Lead inhouse projects like category and stock analyses as directed.
• Develop and publish SOPs and guidelines for finance processes.

Job description

• Periodical financial performance reporting to management/board of directors/leadership teams with actionable insightful information highlighting top performers/laggards for timely interventions. Focused on sales/margins/overheads/inventory and capex performance with data analysis by business unit, channel, GL level. Includes correlation with macroeconomic factors, scenario analysis, benchmarking and other tactical analysis.
• Periodic balance sheet and cashflow reviews and analysis to aid management in decision making.
• Monthly discussion with brands and countries for performance reviews, collaborative discussions for proactive and reactive actions.
• Work in cross functional teams to automate performance reporting. Constantly explore process simplification/automation that helps drive better efficiency
• Conception to completion of budgeting process including guidance notes, system submissions, clarifications, management reviews and final board presentations
• Spearheading strategy planning across organization including brainstorming and publishing templates, submissions, synthesizing summary for management, discussion with brands and management reviews
• Inhouse projects like event analysis, category and stock level analysis, management directed projects etc.
• House for design, discussion and publication of SOPs, issuing guidelines and ways of working in finance
• Supporting shared services, brands, countries and controllership for year-end closure and review of financials in alignment with guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Finance / Accounting
• Chartered Accountant (Batch 2018 - 2019)
• 7 to 8 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in a large matrix organisation
