Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end data modelling, business intelligence, and analytics agenda in line with business priorities and enterprise reporting requirements.
- Design and continuously improve data models, reporting structures, dashboard architecture, and insight‑driven presentation formats.
- Oversee the development, enhancement, and optimization of dashboards and reporting outputs that support performance monitoring and business decisions.
- Manage interactive dashboards and self‑service reporting solutions across Tableau and Power BI environments.
- Define, standardise, and govern KPI frameworks to ensure reporting consistency, accuracy, and accountability across functions.
- Work closely with business and functional stakeholders to capture reporting needs, clarify priorities, and translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
- Lead advanced and exploratory analytics work to uncover trends, investigate performance gaps, and create practical recommendations for business improvement.
- Deliver curated executive presentations that convert complex data into clear insights, business actions, and decision‑ready narratives.
- Establish governance practices for data quality, KPI definitions, ownership, documentation, and reporting discipline.
- Monitor reporting adoption and improve dashboard usability so teams can access trusted information quickly and confidently.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, technology partners, BI users, and external stakeholders to support reliable analytics delivery.
- Build, mentor, and manage a capable analytics team, strengthening technical skills, delivery standards, and business understanding.
- Improve reporting processes by identifying duplication, manual effort, data gaps, and opportunities for automation or self‑service analytics.
- Support strategic project pipelines by aligning analytics priorities with wider organisational efficiency and optimisation goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in a relevant quantitative discipline such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, enterprise reporting, data modelling, analytics delivery, or performance insights.
- Proven track record in developing scalable data models, dashboards, reporting frameworks, KPI structures, and executive‑level insight packs.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience delivering self‑service reporting solutions and interactive dashboards for business users.
- Strong understanding of KPI governance, data quality controls, documentation standards, and reporting ownership.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, capture requirements, manage demand, and translate business needs into structured analytics outputs.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns, diagnose performance gaps, and generate actionable recommendations.
- Experience leading analytics teams, mentoring specialists, setting delivery standards, and building data capability.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to convert technical findings into clear business messages for senior leaders.
- Comfortable coordinating with cross‑functional teams, technology partners, BI teams, and external vendors.
