Job summary

Dubai Holding Community Management is seeking a Manager Data & Analytics to lead data strategy, build scalable analytics products, and drive innovation across CRM, ERP, and operations.

You will manage a team of data engineers, analysts, and BI developers, oversee data architecture in the cloud, and partner with business units to turn insights into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Data & Analytics with 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Expertise with major Cloud Data Warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, DBT, Informatica).
• Proven experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to identify business opportunities through data and move analytics from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Data Strategy & Roadmap: define and champion data & analytics strategy aligned with IT roadmap.
• Product Development: treat data outputs as products, integrate into business applications.
• Team Management: recruit, mentor, and manage data engineers, analysts, and BI developers.
• Technology Scouting: evaluate AI/ML platforms and cloud tools to boost insights.
• Data Architecture Oversight: optimize cloud data platform, data warehouses and lakes.
• ETL/ELT Pipelines: oversee robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Data Modelling & Governance: set modelling standards and data quality governance.
• BI Platform Management: manage Tableau/Power BI/Looker access and performance.
• Analytical Enablement: partner with business units, define metrics and self-service adoption.
• Advanced Analytics: guide projects in statistics and ML, explain results to stakeholders.

About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for aManager Data & Analytics to join Dubai Holding Community Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Strategic Leadership and Innovation (Applications & Innovations Focus):

• Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define and champion the organizational Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall IT & Digitalization roadmap and the Associate Director’s innovation mandates
• Product Development: Lead the team in treating data and analytical outputs as products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and integrated directly into business applications (e.g., embedding predictive models into CRM, optimizing operational workflows)
• Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI Developers, fostering a culture of innovation, data literacy, and technical excellence
• Technology Scouting: Proactively evaluate and recommend emerging technologies (AI/ML platforms, new data visualization tools, cloud services) that can enhance the speed and impact of analytical insights

Data Architecture and Engineering Oversight:

• Modern Data Stack: Oversee the architecture, design, and continuous optimization of the cloud-based data platform (Data Warehouse, Data Lake), ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Data Pipelines (ETL/ELT): Direct the development and maintenance of robust, high-quality data ingestion and transformation pipelines to integrate data from diverse source systems (ERP, CRM, operational databases) into the centralized warehouse
• Data Modelling: Establish best practices for dimensional modelling (e.g., Kimball methodology) and data marts to ensure data is optimized for efficient reporting, analysis, and application consumption
• Governance & Quality: Partner with the IT Governance team to establish and enforce data quality standards, meta-data management, lineage tracking, and compliance (e.g., PII, regulatory requirements)

Business Intelligence and Analytical Enablement:

• BI Platform Management: Own the corporate Business Intelligence platform (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), managing user access, deployment, and performance optimization
• Analytical Consulting: Serve as a strategic partner to key business units (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance), translating complex business questions into clear analytical requirements and defining success metrics
• Self-Service Enablement: Drive the adoption of self-service BI capabilities across the organization through training, development of certified data sources, and promoting data literacy
• Advanced Analytics: Oversee projects involving statistical analysis, machine learning (ML) model development, and implementation, ensuring results are communicated clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders

About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics, with at least 3 years managing technical teams and data platforms

• Expertise with a major Cloud Data Warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift)
• Strong background in SQL, data modelling, and experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran, DBT, Informatica)

• Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences

• Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities through data and a proven track record of moving analytical concepts from prototype to production application
