Job summary

Emirates Investment Bank pjsc seeks a Wealth Management Business Analyst and Product Owner to lead end-to-end requirements, backlog grooming, and delivery coordination across WM domains. You will partner with stakeholders, IT, and vendors to align initiatives with strategic goals.

Role requires 5–10 years in wealth management operations or middle office, strong MS Office and BI skills, and proven collaboration across cross-functional teams. Masters preferred; on-site position in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in business/finance-related field; Masters preferred
• 5–10 years in private banking, wealth management operations or middle office roles
• Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of BI/Reporting tools is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; stakeholder engagement
• Experience with governance frameworks and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Capture and document detailed business and functional requirements from WM stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into system functionality and manage delivery backlog; collaborate with IT and vendors.
• Coordinate processes to improve workflows, user experiences and automation; ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation and support audit remediation efforts.
• Define product vision, roadmap, backlog, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders; drive continual improvement across teams.

Job description

This role is responsible for implementation and delivery of Wealth Management solutions and process initiatives. The job holder will act as the product and subject matter expert (SME) across multiple domains, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and IT to enhance Wealth Management systems and services. The position entails owning the backlog of requirements, defining user stories, managing delivery, and aligning with strategic business goals.

Key Accountabilities:

1) Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Capture and document detailed business and functional requirements from WM stakeholders.
• Analyze and interpret business requirements to guide solution development.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into system functionality.
• Maintain a roadmap for system & process enhancements in alignment with WM stakeholders.
• Act as process owner, overseeing prioritization and backlog grooming.

3) Project & Process Coordination

• Work with operations and technology teams to enhance workflows, user experiences, and process automation.
• Ensure timely delivery of agreed initiatives by coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Provide transparency on process changes, risks, and dependencies.

4) Controls & oversight

• Maintain and oversee the maintenance of SOPs, Process documentation & Operational guidelines.
• Contribute to internal & external audits and support remediation actions
• Liaise with external counterparties, review services and delivery.
• Engage with internal IT teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
• Mitigate risks related to vendor/counterparty delays impacting project timelines.

6) Product Ownership

• Develop a strong understanding of Wealth Management products and processes.
• Define and manage product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Work across teams to deliver enhancements and drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualification:

Experience -

• 5-10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management operations, business support or middle office functions
• Exposure to governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and technology and digital platforms.

Qualification -

• Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Finance, Economics or related fields (Masters preferred)
• High proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of BI/Reporting tools is an advantage
