Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a Data Solution Architect to relocate to Malta. You will architect and deliver large-scale data platforms, BI and analytics solutions using Azure, with emphasis on data governance and MDMs. Strong communication, leadership and travel readiness are essential.

Role requires hands-on Azure data engineering, familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure DevOps, plus ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a senior data architecture/lead role.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure data solutions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Fabric and BI tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and MDMs frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end Azure Data Platform solutions (data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses).
• Lead delivery, mentoring and guiding the team.
• Oversee data modelling and architecture documentation standards.
• Collaborate with clients to define data strategy and roadmaps.
• Support presales, estimates and proposals.
