Job summary

A leading aerospace logistics company in Abu Dhabi seeks experienced candidates for conducting acceptance and test flights along with maintenance operational checks. Ideal applicants will have extensive flying hours, necessary certifications, and commercial or military training. This role requires strong coordination skills with management and production control teams, ensuring effective support for maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Total Flying hours of 3,000.
• PIC 1,000 flying hours required.
• 200 minimum MTP hours on AW139.
• ATPL IR is mandatory.
• 5 years’ experience as MTP required.
• Maintenance Examiner experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acceptance test flights.
• Perform pre/post phase test flights.
• Carry out ground/flight maintenance operational checks.
• Troubleshoot ground/flight evaluations.

Skills

FAA, EASA, etc. or equivalent military training certificates

Military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course

Attain and maintain a local military flight physical (class I)

Pass hands-on flight evaluation

Education

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred

Job description

Responsible for conducting acceptance test flights, pre/post phase test flights, ground/flight maintenance operational checks, ground/flight evaluation and troubleshooting. Reports directly to the Maintenance Examiner, Maintenance Team Lead and Maintenance Manager to assist with: coordinating with Production Control for maintenance planning, schedules and unit (pilot and aircrew) support for maintenance operations when required.

Skills

• FAA, EASA, etc. or equivalent military training certificates. Military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.
• Must be able to attain and maintain a local military flight physical (class I), equivalent to the FAA (class II).
• Must be able to pass hands-on flight evaluation.
• BA or BS is preferred.
