Job description
Job Purpose

The MST Technician – Plumbing / Plumber is responsible for conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, resolving plumbing and hydraulic technical issues, and handling emergency situations across assigned properties. The role ensures that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and repair complex hydraulic and plumbing issues across assigned sites.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on technical equipment including pumps, expansion vessels, and water tanks as per maintenance schedules.

  • Attend and resolve plumbing and mechanical emergencies, including on-call duties.

  • Identify technical improvements for plumbing and mechanical systems and recommend enhancements to the Operations Manager.

  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by the Maintenance Team.

  • Provide technical guidance and training to operations and maintenance staff.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of emergency actions, maintenance work, parts/tools required, and completion reports.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Diploma or professional certification in Mechanical Systems.

  • Valid UAE Driver’s License.

  • Health and Safety qualification preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Plumber in building maintenance, property management, or facilities management environments.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing installations, pumps, control panel boards, hydraulics, water distribution, water tanks, and water quality control systems.

  • Versatile hands-on plumbing expertise with ability to manage complex systems.

Knowledge and Skills
