Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and plumbing for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
• Maintain automatic flushing valves and clean fat traps in kitchen areas.
• Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning soil and stack pipes.
• Keep roof ventilation and rainwater outlets clear and functional.
• Review building plans to determine layout for plumbing installations.
• Identify tools and equipment needed and select pipe types/sizes.
• Mark connection positions and install supports for pipes and fixtures.
