A leading company in the UAE is seeking a Maintenance Electrician responsible for ensuring electrical systems operate efficiently within their facility. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, diagnosing faults, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical operations are conducted in compliance with codes and regulations while minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal operational efficiency.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults and repair or replace defective components as needed.
Install and test electrical wiring, outlets, lighting systems, motors, panels, and other electrical fixtures.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and electrical codes.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Work with other maintenance staff to support general facility repairs and improvements.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and electrical emergencies.
Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and tools.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical systems.
Valid electrician license or certification (as required by local regulations).
3+ years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures.
Familiarity with PLCs, control panels, and automation systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance settings.
Knowledge of energy-efficient systems or sustainable electrical practices.
Basic computer skills for using maintenance software or logging data.
