Caliberly is seeking a seasoned Head of Investment Banking to lead its M&A activities, originating deals and overseeing execution from origination to close. The role emphasizes deep relationships with owners, strategic and financial buyers, and private equity firms.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mid-market M&A, strong financial analysis, valuation, and negotiation skills, and the ability to independently manage multi-party transactions through closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of investment banking experience.
• Strong execution of mid-market M&A transactions.
• Proven track record in deal origination and successful M&A execution.

Responsibilities

• Source and originate M&A opportunities.
• Build relationships with business owners, founders, shareholders and senior management.
• Identify and approach suitable strategic and financial buyers.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of buy-side and sell-side opportunities.
• Lead the full M&A process from initial discussion through closing.
• Prepare teasers, CIMs, financial analysis and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients, buyers, advisors throughout transactions.
• Negotiate terms and support clients in deal outcomes.
• Build a network of investors, PE firms, family offices, and buyers.
• Drive revenue growth for the investment banking function.
