Job summary

Hill International in Abu Dhabi seeks a Construction Manager - Infra to lead the delivery of infrastructure works, coordinating with main contractor, specialist subcontractors and the supervision consultant to ensure quality and schedule.

You will oversee inspections, monitor progress, manage RFI/submittal processes, interface with Abu Dhabi authorities, and drive QHSE performance across the project lifecycle toward a successful handover.

Qualifications

• Mandatory civil engineering degree.
• 20 years construction experience with luxury villa exposure.
• Experience dealing with Abu Dhabi local authorities approvals.
• Proven track record in project close-out and handover.
• Senior construction leadership on similar projects.
• Extensive subcontractor management and life-cycle oversight.
• Experience with inspections, QC and quality benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the construction phase throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of the supervision consultant and contractors for contract compliance.
• Review, validate and verify reported progress across all construction activities.
• Oversee technical submittal approval and RFI processes for timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to optimize sequencing, productivity and overall progress.
• Oversee inspection activities and improve methodologies and execution.
• Monitor QHSE performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead coordination with Abu Dhabi local authorities and statutory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International policies and procedures.
• Support project close-out, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
