Job summary

Madinat Jumeirah Resort, part of Jumeirah, is seeking a Senior Bartender to elevate beverage experiences at the beachfront resort. You will craft cocktails, upsell premium beverages, and contribute to outstanding guest service across multiple venues within the property.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of luxury hospitality bartending experience, strong knowledge of drinks, and a commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety. Some shifts may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a bartender in luxury hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills with the ability to create memorable experiences.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and responsible alcohol service.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by providing beverage recommendations and personalized experiences.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages per recipes and standards.
• Upsell menu items and specialty beverages to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and presentation standards of the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and ensure proper storage of beverages.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene and responsible alcohol service standards while supporting team operations.
